Introduction

I wasn’t getting any power to my 12v accessory cigarette lighter. It turned out to be a simple fuse.

Parts Required

  • ATM 20A Fuse (mini fuse)


Not getting power to cigarette lighter

Pop the hood and locate the fuse box

Remove fuse box cover

Locate specific fuse

Fuse position 34 yellow is what we need to check.

Grab the built in fuse puller

Remove the fuse

Inspect the fuse

As you can see, this fuse is clearly blown (The circuit doesn’t exist)

Install a new 20A mini fuse
